As the deadline for a threatened taxi strike approaches on Wednesday, Mayor Bloomberg says he's not backing down from a plan to install credit card and video devices in city taxicabs. Thousands of drivers from the New York Taxi Workers Alliance could put their cabs in park to protest the technology.
